Y’all it seems like we’re actually starting to see a break in the weather around here, and hopefully that means we’ve finally made it to SPRING! That said, does anyone feel like they’ve been in some sort of mental hibernation the last few months? With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I’ve been seeing a lot of blogs putting out their posts on ways you can show love for the important people in your life, like your significant other, your mom, your boss, or even your dog. That said, it seems as though the most important person has been forgotten: yourself! We as a society seem to have developed a mindset that it’s inherently narcissistic or selfish to consider ourselves as more than an after-thought, when hellooo, it should just be second nature to show some love on the reg.

I’ve mentioned it before here, but it’s really so important to treat yourself right and show appreciation for yourself, even in little ways. Not only can it make a physical difference, but taking time out of your day to put yourself first is totally a mood booster!
