So I’ve been looking for some easy breakfast recipes lately because I’m awful at actually eating breakfast, and came upon this! Chia pudding is probably the simplest recipe because you basically set it up and just leave it to do its thing. If you’re one of those people that has texture issues, this might not be for you (like, if you avoid rice pudding or tapioca for example).
Chia seeds have been proven to be beneficial to your health, as they’re packed with nutrients. They’re super high in:
- omega-3 fatty acids
- healthy fats
- and can help to reduce inflammation
Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding
• 1.5 cups almond milk
• 4 tsp agave
• 4 Tbsp chia seeds
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• your choice of toppings!
- Add all the above ingredients into a jar (I used a tupperware) and cover with a lid tightly, then shake! You want everything to combine together and the chia seeds to be fully submerged.
- Refrigerate for at least 6 hours (I left it overnight).
- Pour into a bowl (or eat directly from your container of choice) and cover with your favorite toppings! Fruits, coconut, chocolate, almonds, cinnamon, go crazy!
