December mood board + Christmas movies.

Anyone else really confused where the hell this year went? How the heck are we already in friggin’ DECEMBER? I feel like I say this every year but 2018 really flew by. At any rate, here’s what I’m feeling for this festive month (and what I’m watching on repeat).

mood board:

01. BERETS: I’ve been seeing berets around for the last year, and I never dove into the trend because I was CONVINCED I couldn’t pull off the très chic look. I finally bit the bullet and bought a black one, and to be frank: I’m probably going to invest in every color. Ya girl is sold, and with all my turtlenecks, I’m pretty much just swan diving into my french girl winter look. Je friggin m’appelle Kate, y’all.

02. TEDDY COATS: Okay, this is another trend I tip-toed around for a while, despite seeing nearly every insta-girl donning the tan oversized teddy with their skinny 501 Levi’s (y’all know exactly the Pinterest perfect look I’m talking about). No matter how cool it looked, my bank account straight up disagreed that the shearling coat was worth upwards of $120. THAT IS, until this past Cyber Monday I found it for cheap as hell on Princess Polly. Guys, not only do they have the OG I.AM.GIA coat for super cheap, the Honey browser extension (seriously, you need to download this) found me a discount code that got me two teddy coats for the price of one.

Also, I’m impressed as hell that my two coats made it all the way from Australia in under a week? How even?!

03. CHRISTMAS MOVIES: I’ve actually been playing Christmas movies since mid-November (and music since… mid-July, if we’re honest), but it’s now actually appropriate to share. I decided to put together a list of my faves so you can watch a movie every day from now till Christmas day. Should you decide to marathon them all in one day, I suggest watching It’s A Wonderful Life on repeat for the remainder days till Christmas (occasionally switching off with Love Actually, if you feel like crying).
