Y’all it seems like we’re actually starting to see a break in the weather around here, and hopefully that means we’ve finally made it to SPRING! That said, does anyone feel like they’ve been in some sort of mental hibernation the last few months? I’m sure it’s partially in part to seasonal depression, but dang if I haven’t been truly embodying the feeling of just pushing my food around on my plate. Ya know, not really accomplishing eating, mostly pretending? Same.
In the spirit of blooming out of that shell, I’ve decided to try to add more intrigue back into my life, and I’ve listed out some tips to help y’all as well! Do something different to spice things up? Let me know below! View Post

If you’ve been reading my blog for a minute, it’s no secret I’ve been putting a lot of focus on making positive improvements. Each day I strive to be a better person than the day before, and with this blog I’m taking y’all along for the ride. Seriously, imagine that I’m e-holding your hand as we grow together.
I’ve talked a lot about mental wellness recently, but today I want to share some tangible, sustainable changes you can make to your routines–the bathroom ones in particular.

This past fall and winter, it seemed like no matter what I did, I couldn’t quite get my skin to cooperate. No matter how many masks or scrubs, eventually my face and body would start breaking out again. It wasn’t until I tried to really better understand my problem areas and the root causes that I was able to make leeway. To save y’all from all the trouble I went through, I’ve put together a list of my top tips to get your skin glowing, just in time for the season where you’ll be showing the most of it.
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I’ve been seeing a lot of blogs putting out their posts on ways you can show love for the important people in your life, like your significant other, your mom, your boss, or even your dog. That said, it seems as though the most important person has been forgotten: yourself! We as a society seem to have developed a mindset that it’s inherently narcissistic or selfish to consider ourselves as more than an after-thought, when hellooo, it should just be second nature to show some love on the reg.
I’ve mentioned it before here, but it’s really so important to treat yourself right and show appreciation for yourself, even in little ways. Not only can it make a physical difference, but taking time out of your day to put yourself first is totally a mood booster! I know it can be easier said than done, especially if you’re not used to making yourself a priority, so try starting small. Here’s 3 of my favorite ways to show myself a little love: View Post
I decided to switch it up a little this month and asked my friend Bianca, owner of Toile, to help me pick some outfits for you guys to wear on Valentine’s Day! Her shop is loaded with some rad local talent (including her own pieces!) so this was fun to put together. We’ve got two outfits for you to choose from, so that whether you’re heading out to a Valentine’s date or planning to celebrate Galentine’s style (which, for those of you who don’t watch Parks and Rec, is for ladies to celebrate with their lady friends), you’re totally covered.
